Name: Mace Windu
Age: 58
Species: Human
Class: Sorcerer
Alignment: Neutral Good
Occupation:
The Supreme Sorcerer of the Western Sorcerers
Appearance:
((Yes, I went there.))
Mace is a tall, strong dark skinned man, wearing robes similar to the Head Librarian of the Brotherhood of Bones, the only difference being his blade. Mace Windu, Joseph Jakosik and John Smith, the inventor and Left Hand of Dagalûr, at one point, came up with the design for the magically fueled energy blade long, long ago. Of course, when John defected to Dagalûr and tried to steal the weapon, he found that the materials the weapon was made from caused a reaction to another user's magic: If one Magic user claimed the blade before another did, then the other could not wield the same blade. As a blade claimed by a Magic user, it would display a color based on not only based on the kind of magic the user used, but also their history, their personality, and, theoretically, their very soul. Mace's blade chose the color Purple, a noble color to be sure, yet it was the butt of many jokes told by Joseph.
Personality:
Mace Windu possessed a unique personality for a Sorcerer. He was a cautious individual, even demonstrating reluctance at times. He chose his friends carefully and was slow to trust, coming off as remote and intense. Despite this, he was extremely courageous, bravely risking life and limb on numerous occasions for the Western Sorcerers. In fact, due to his talent as a duelist and a Sorcerer, Windu was very prideful, quite secure in his own strength. However, he kept this arrogance in check, humbling himself towards individuals he felt were superior. Windu strongly believed that a Sorcerer's role was that of servants of the People, rather than their Governments, and treated all civilians with respect. He was especially well known for a sharp tongue and an occasional sarcastic interface.
Of course, he has a tendency to be... overbearing when he talks and acts at various times. Sometimes it's in the middle of an angry conversation, other times it's during a fight.
History:
Not much is known of Mace Windu's past, having been taken as a child, as per tradition. What people do know about the man, however, is his feats in both combat and diplomacy. He quickly rose to the rank of Supreme Sorcerer, and joined into an alliance with the Brotherhood of Bones, for both knowledge and, should the time come, sanctuary.
In his years, he had met many people, including the almost ancient Wizard known as Joseph Jakosik, and the Silent that would be the future Left Hand of Dagalûr, John Smith. The three had collaborated together on one project: The Magic Saber (or, for a shortened version, the Saber), the magically-fueled blade of energy that would be wielded by the Western Sorcerers. But when John had defected to Dagalûr, he attempted to claim the Blade, but Mace had gotten there first. Mace having claimed the Blade, John stole the blueprints and journeyed to the Dark Lands to Dagalûr's Tower, so that he may recreate the weapon multiple times over for Dagalûr and his Generals. Joseph had disappeared, as he often did, the schematics of the Saber burned into his memory. As for Mace, he would be forever unable to recreate the weapon, lacking both the mechanical knowledge, the materials, and the plans to do so.
Now, he trains his disciples in the art of War, waiting for the day they would have to fight Dagalûr's coming invasion.
