Name: Anduryn, son of Andulin
Age: 52
Species: Human
Class: Knight
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Occupation: King of Kattarn
Appearance:
Armor:
Personality:
Anduryn, once, was a great leader. A kind, but fierce man, he had a passion for almost anything he pursued (Except for Polgai Races, they were always rigged). But after the loss of his wife and child, he wasn't the same. Convinced they were murders, he became suspicious of everyone who was in the castle, and cast away all social interaction for finding the people responsible for the murders.
By now, suspicion is almost a second nature to him, and he is anti-social much of the time, leaving the running of his kingdom to his adviser, a corrupt and tiny man by the name of Gryzun Makarov. But if there's anything left of the old Anduryn, then it's his loyalty. He's never suspected one of his dearest friends, Nihrandir, due to the fact that Anduryn's known Nihrandir since he was a wee lad.
Though not all of the suspicion that Anduryn had cast out was a waste. He had followed up on many leads, and the many nights he had spent going over information gathered has gained him some deduction skills, though many leads often led to a dead informant, or a place that wasn't there anymore, or wasn't there to begin with. This led him to believe that there was a conspiracy going on, and soon he had shut himself out of the world entirely.
History:
Born a son to Andulin and Marie, his mother died during childbirth. From then, he was raised by his father, and taught by many teachers in many things. The teacher he bonded with most, however, would be one of the greatest friends he would ever know: Nihrandir. After his education was finished, Andulin allowed Anduryn travel among the lands, and he has met many on his journeys.
But the most important person he would meet would be his future wife, Evelyn. Of course, they didn't get along famously from the beginning. They were rival treasure hunters, after all; him, stealing to put these relics in a museum, and her to get rich. But, after ten years of stealing treasure from each other, recovering relics together, flirting together, and the occasional shag, the grew to love each other. After two years, they managed to have a son, naming him Manduryn.
They lived together for another ten years, until that fateful day. That day when Evelyn and Manduryn had died. Of course, it drove Anduryn mad, believing his wife and child were murdered. He spent ten years tracking down every lead he could, his suspicion and paranoia made him leave his castle - and in turn, his kingdom - in the hands of Gryzun Makarov, his worst and only adviser after the rest had died (many at Makarov's hands). Makarov was a small, small human. Even Dwarves considered him tiny. With the Kingdom of Kattarn in his hands, it fell into ruin and disrepair, Anduryn too busy to really run it as he chased down leads.
As Dagalûr's armies grow and the threat of invasion approaches, Anduryn as yet to cease in his investigation. He needs that one piece of the puzzle, and he can't stop until he gets it.
