Name: Steven Chase (aka Deathstroke the Terminator)
Age: 33
Species: Human/Demon
Class: Fighter
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Occupation: Mercenary
Appearance:
Steven has lost a right eye, and he always wears a black eye patch to cover it. His hair, cut short, is jet black, along with his goatee, and his remaining eye is gray, and has a very battle-hardened glint in them, the type of look that tells you that if you trick this guy, you'll wind up dead before you can blink. Steven is a very physically fit man, his body built for the sole purpose of waging war. It's riddled in scars from past battles, but they are hardly ever shown, as Steven rarely takes his costume off in front of people.
His outfit as Deathstroke consists of a full-body scale-mail armor, with a black spandex shirt over it, cut off at mid-bicep, and black spandex pants. Around his waist he has a utility belt, with plenty of pouches on it, and he wears orange gloves and orange fold-over boots. The most eye-catching thing about his outfit, however, is his mask. He wears a full cloth face mask, with long tails attached to the back of it (for seemingly no reason, seeing as the mask isn't tied to his head). Half of it is orange, the left half, with an eye hole on it, while the other half of the mask, the right one, is pitch black, and doesn't have an eye hole, seeing as he doesn't need it.
His weapons of choice includes a katana without a guard, both hilt and sheath pitch black, a steel staff, and plenty of various knives.
Personality:
Like most mercenaries, Steven doesn't really have a sense of humor, nor does he like people, and doesn't really talk to many, unless it's a client. He is incredibly greedy, and charges a lot for his services, but is still a man of his word, and refuses to accept payment until after the job, whichever it may be, is done, because, however unlikely it may be, there's always a risk of failure in every job, and he doesn't want to make money from failed jobs.
Anyone deemed useless to him is beneath his notice, and he tends to think of anyone like that as trash. He isn't very popular because of that, but he could care less. It also doesn't matter to him how dirty or humiliating a job is. So long as he's getting paid for it, he'll do it.
The loss of his right eye doesn't matter to Steven, and he is proud to show off his handicap, and his ability to fight efficiently even with only one eye.
As he is a mercenary who works for anyone, linguistic skills are required. Therefore, Deathstroke speaks fluent Common, Elven and Dwarven, along with basic Deep Speech and Abyssal. He cannot read the last two, but he can speak enough to get his point across, and understands enough to get by.
He learned the very, very, very basic Abyssal from a fellow Mercenary, a demon who charged him 200 gold for a single lesson.
History:
When Steven was a young boy, his father immediately started training him in the art of war, raising him to be a cold-blooded soldier for the human kingdom, since he could take it, due to his demon genes. Steven didn't like his father's wishes for him, though, and as he grew older, he started to less and less like the prospect of having someone commanding him and telling him what to do. Steven preferred to be his own man.
So, when Steven was 15, he murdered his father, tired of him bossing him around all the time. His father died with a smile, though, as Steven had killed him during a spar, showing the same emotional detachment he had been trying to teach Steven his whole life. All alone now, Steven left the house after gathering his belongings and setting the house on fire, deciding to live a life on the road, a mercenary-for-hire.
The years passed, and Steven quickly made a name for himself after fashioning himself a codename, Deathstroke, which was quickly changed through gossip to Deathstroke the Terminator, due to his love for taking assassination missions, and completing them with brutal efficiency. So far he hasn't failed a single assassination mission.
When Steven was 20, however, he fell in love with an Elven woman named Anna, and they got married, getting a daughter named Rose. That didn't last long, as bandits raided their house while Steven was out on a job. When he returned, he found the house burned to the ground, along with the burned corpses of his wife and daughter. Enraged by this, he hunted down every last one of the ten bandits and tore out their spines.
Now, he has returned to full-time mercenary work, taking no sides, and only working for those who can afford him.
