Name: Hyacinth Daisy Rose
Age: 22
Species: Human
Alignment Neutral Good
Occupation: Blacksmith
Appearance:
Personality:
If you want a broken nose or a chopped off limb ... then mess with this girl. She is tough, gruff, mean and knows how to take care of herself. Seeing as she knows how to use the weapons she makes with expert precision she really is not very afraid of much. Hy knows two things, hard work and fighting. Hy spends her days at the forge and her evenings practising her sword work.
Hy is rather rough around the edges and likes to speak bluntly. She is not a fan of sarcasm because she really doesn't understand it. Despite being rather 'street smart' (so to speak) when it comes to quick talkers she's rather lost. She likes things to be simple, straight forward, and easy to understand. This is her only big weakness (in her opinion) seeing as if she is confronted with a more intellectual person it would be rather easy for them to talk circles around her and confuse her.
Hyacinth is easily annoyed and quick to draw her sword. If you piss her off she'll fight you. Hy is really not very good with emotions or any other 'girly' things. She prefers the solitude of her forge to going out with men (or women) or socializing in general. Hyacinth has not cried since she was a baby (literally) and really does not understand women who get all emotional and teary eyed at the drop of a hat (literally in some cases).
History:
Born to a soldier and a common woman Hyacinth had a rather average childhood. Her mum did most of the raising of her but her dad influenced her greatly. As soon as she could talk and walk her dad started training her with every weapon he knew how to use. She learnt quickly and soon moved on to new weapons and eventually she began teaching him how to use some of them.
At the age of twelve Hy expressed an interest in learning how the weapons she used were made and her father quickly took her to a forge to apprentice. Hy worked under the old man who owned the forge diligently, practising her fighting at night and working hard during the day. When she turned eighteen the man who owned the forge and had trained her told her that he was retiring and left her in charge. Since then Hy has worked hard making whatever she could.
When Hy turned twenty her father passed away and she threw herself yet further in to work. She is most often found in her shop with soot and dust all over her, sweat on her brow (and the rest of her body) and burns on her hands (and arms). She lives a simple life, since she is generally a simple person. She works hard all the time. She doesn't really know how to take a break ... but she honestly doesn't really mind.
Fears: Complaints about her work (her products)
Goals: To be the best sword maker alive
