Garrett is probably the greediest person in the world. He loves riches, and does anything to get them, bypassing even the tightest security to get to his treasures. He is an excellent thief, with a nose for treasure. He is not above tricking people into giving up their possessions or stealing from the poor. As long as he himself gets the gold, he couldn't rightly care about anyone else.
Although he is extremely greedy, he has been able to work with other members of the Thief Guild to get a hold of treasures he couldn't get by himself, but he is adamant on everyone getting an equal share of the loot. If he is tricked or someone tries to get away without sharing the loot, however, he will hunt that person down and kill them.
History:
Garrett never knew his parents. He was apparently born in a brothel in the Dark Lands where his mother worked, but she left as soon as she had given birth to him, and Garrett himself was sent out to be raised in the streets by the bums that roam the alleys. He was raised with the belief that if you wanted something, you had to take it, and so he started killing and stealing at an early age, finding that he was incredibly good at assassinations and thievery.
At age fifteen, Garrett had already made a name for himself in the Dark Lands, and the neighboring countries, having eight bounties in Kattarn, and seven in Kaz Kazan. That was when he was approached by the leader of the Thief Guild, Fayath II. He was recruited into the Thief Guild, where he found his kindred spirits. Wherever he looked, he saw people who lived by the same codes he lived by, people who had been raised the same way he had. They were the only people he could never see himself stealing from.
For fifteen years, Garrett has been working out the the Thief Guild, sticking to his normal life, but now having a place to call home, and to hide out in if things get too hot for him.
