The Realm of Eld is a treasure trove of ancient relics hidden away, lost, or forgotten. Not only Eld is ripe with treasure, but the Nine Hells and even Arathros have relics that not even the gods can remember. They are just waiting there for some lucky adventurer to pick them up and use them.
The Eyes of the Hawk
A pair of glasses made three hundred years ago by the legendary Orc enchanter Gravak Grimtooth. These glasses will allow the wearer to see objects that are far away, giving the wearer better vision than even young Werebeasts. These glasses were thought to have been lost with Gravak's passing, but fate decided otherwise.
This relic is currently in the possession of the master thief Drasil Yggson.
The Thief's Companions
These gloves are very old, over a thousand years old, originally enchanted by an unknown enchanter, and worn by the master thief Yxladd, who used them very effectively. These gloves are especially sensitive to vibrations, which makes them very useful when picking locks and feeling the floors for any incoming footsteps, something that aided Yxladd in many of his thefts.
These relics are currently worn by the master thief Drasil Yggson.
Boots of Silence
Another relic of the master thief Yxladd, who used these boots throughout his entire career as a thief. These boots are enchanted to dampen the footfall a mere millimeter from the floor, which muffles the footsteps extensively. The boots, which were worn by Yxladd even as he was buried, were stolen from his grave five years after his death, and were thought to have been lost until they were seen worn by their current owner.
These relics are currently worn by the master thief Drasil Yggson.
The Eye of the Sun
A medallion forged and enchanted in one of the Nine Hells. Which Hell it was is unknown, as is its creator. What is known about the medallion, however, is that it grants vampires protection against the sun, rendering one of their weaknesses useless. It is a medallion told of only in legends by the young vampires, who wish to be like their Ancient brethren and step out into the sun again.
This relic is currently in the possession of the Vampire Queen Iridessa.
The Vampire's Bane
This legendary greatsword was wielded by the legendary Paladin and vampire hunter Aldrin the Pure. It is a very powerful weapon that has been blessed by Clerics and Paladin from all over the Realm of Eld, to be used against vampires. Its very touch is poisonous to a vampire, and it burns through them like a hot knife through butter. When Aldrin the Pure was slain, the sword was buried with him.
The current whereabouts of the final resting place of Aldrin the Pure are unknown.
The Sunblade
The Sunblade is a golden longsword blessed by the High Priest of Pelor of The Dawn Authority. The blade cuts both flesh and soul. Every time it cuts into someone it destroys the corruption in their soul, for corrupt and evil creatures it destroys them entirely. The corruption is not lost however, instead it attaches itself both to the blade and the wielder. Every so often both must be submerged and bathed in Holy Water to cleanse the tainted energy from them.
This sword is currently wielded by the Paladin Alain Goldblade.
Lady Mary
The legendary broadsword forged in Stygia under the orders of the deity Groosh. This sword is said to contain the essence of the Lady Mary, a demoness who rejected Groosh's advances. In his anger, he sealed her inside the blade to suffer for all eternity, bound to him. When he was killed, his soul was sucked into the blade to share in her suffering, as the sword switched hands and bonded with another wielder. This sword is also bound to Groosh's ship, Lady Mary's Revenge, and binds its wielder to it as well, preventing them from leaving the ship for more than twenty-four hours.
This relic now resides in the Realm of Eld, in the hands of the pirate Captain Saak the Bloody.
