The Languages of Eld are great in number. - Common - Almost every creature in the world knows this language. It is the 'standard'. Mostly, however, it is spoken by the Humans.
- Elven - The language of the elves. This language is fair, and it is said to be a delight to listen to, even if one does not understand it.
- Dwarven - The language of Dwarves and Giants. This language is written in runes.
- Goblin - The hacking language of Goblins and Bugbears.
- Orcish - The rumbling, grumbling language of the Orcs.
- Supernal - The language of Gods and holy beings. Mortals must be taught this language by a divine creature after they are proven worthy.
- Abyssal - The language of Demons and Unholy beings. Mortals must learn this language from a demon. The magic in the language itself prevents humans that know it from teaching it.
- Deep Speech - The language of the Shadar-Kai, Vampires, and other "dark creatures." A character may only start with two languages. Common and one other. Depending on their intelligence, they may speak more than two. The way the text is written is the way it looks when the language is spoken.
